The Islamic Fintech Dialogue
The Islamic Fintech Dialogue (IFD) is an event that focuses on the convergence of the Islamic finance industry with the financial technology (fintech) industry. Established since 2017, IFD has become a trailblazer for dialogues on this convergence and promises more with enlightening sessions and captivating speakers for the upcoming conference.

Past
Islamic Fintech Dialogues
Past IFDs Islamic fintech is a rapidly growing matter of interest in the Islamic finance ecosystem. The Islamic Fintech Dialogue, since its inception, has established itself as a key venue for dialogue on trends and developments in the Islamic fintech ecosystem. The 1st IFD set the stage with discussions on the fundamentals of fintech in Islamic finance. It highlighted developments in key fintech areas such as governance, regulations, Shariah compliance and technology.
The 2nd IFD, which was held for two days, dealt with challenges and opportunities fintech brings to the Islamic finance industry. It provided insight on how fintech is challenging the norm in the global financial industry and transmitting the disruptive vibes into the Islamic financial system.
The 3rd IFD (IFD2020), which was held for two days, discussed extensively on the global COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the Islamic fintech industry. The event discussed various ways to connect the Islamic fintech ecosystem to face the challenges brought about by COVID-19, especially through Islamic social financing initiatives. The 3rd IFD was the event’s virtual session with expert speakers from various countries, including Malaysia, United Kingdom, Indonesia, Bahrain, UAE, Singapore, Egypt, Pakistan, and other country. All the past IFD sessions are available on the I-FIKR App.
